We are a 100% gluten free bistro located at 792 Dundas St. W. in Toronto.
Since 2011, A.B. Bistro has been offering its guests delicious savory fare, in a fun, and vibrant atmosphere. From our signature all-day brunch, burgers, fish’n chips, coffee, & cocktails… to our bakery counter loaded with yummy cookies and treats, we’ve got your taste buds covered.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare food ingredients for cutting, chopping, cooking sauce, etc to be ready for service.
Cook menu items by following company’s recipe and meets quality requirements and established standards.
Cook, plate and complete dishes for serving lunch and dinner according to recipes.
Set up, restock, and clean up the station during and after serving to ensure the kitchen is tidy and organized.
Label all the food items to ensure correct items and put it in the correct storage.
Collaborate with other team members to maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
Estimate and order inventory, produce and other supplies.
Dispose of any waste under company recycling.
Follow daily and weekly cleaning to ensure health and safety standards.
Contribute creative ideas to develop and improve menu items.
Adapt to high-pressure situations and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Completion of college or other program in cooking or food safety
Minimum 3 years experience as a Line Cook in a fast-paced kitchen.
Safe Food Handling Certificate
Familiarity with various cooking techniques and cuisines.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
